Grown-ups please read!
I need a lot of sleep, because I am growing and am learning a lot every day. If you use healthy materials for my bed, it’s like “lying in a flower meadow” and I will go to bed much more willingly – at least, usually ;-)
I like it when you make time for a goodnight story or a song, and I have my cuddly toy with me. I do like to dawdle on my way to bed, but I really know that I sleep better when I always have to go at a certain time.
Psst…things that are important to us kids:
- I like a firm mattress, because it gives my spine proper support.
- The outside of the mattress should feel soft and cuddly, then I feel secure.
- The mattress should also smell nice – because I don’t like the smell of glue at all.
- Mummy says babies need no pillow at all to begin with and later a flat pillow. It’s important that they sleep on their side or their back.
- My bedding must be easily washable and should feel nice on my skin.
- It’s important that my bed shouldn't wobble, but should be stable and safe – I want to be able to jump in it!
